Jerry Springer Leaving “America’s Got Talent”

Jerry Springer will not return as the host of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, the 64-year-old TV personality said in a statement released on Thursday.
According to The Associated Press, Jerry is leaving the annaul talent competition to focus on other projects, including a stage role and his long running syndicated talk show.
The TV personality described his time on the popular show as “an amazing ride.”
Jerry Springer replaced Regis Philbin as host of the reality competition series in the summer of 2007.
