Jenny McCarthy Will Co-Host “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest” 2011
Free this New Year’s Eve? How about spending the night with Jenny McCarthy?
The former Playboy centerfold and pseudo relationship guru (Did we mention actress, activist, and comedienne?) has been tapped to join the festivities as part of the broadcast team of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2011. McCarthy will help out with reporting duties live from Times Square on this year’s holiday special, ABC said Monday.
For the 38th consecutive year, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will lead America into the New Year with three-and-a-half hours of special bi-coastal New Year’s Eve programming, including performances from New York and Hollywood, and the American tradition of Dick Clark counting down to the New Year from Times Square.
“I was reminded how great Jenny is at live broadcasting when she recently stopped by my radio show. That day, with Dick’s blessing, I invited her to join us in Times Square,” says an ecstatic Seacrest.
This year’s special is set to begin Dec. 31 @ 10 PM EST on The Alphabet Network.
