Jennifer Lopez Reality Show Shelved Following “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ Ratings Record
J. Lo’s reality show on TLC has been put on a shelf — thanks to Jon & Kate Gosselin. Last year, Jennifer Lopez inked a deal to star in a reality show chronicling the upcoming launch of her new fragrance. The actress/singer had been at odds with the network for months over her refusal to allow twins Max and Emme to be featured on the show – and now TMZ is reporting that Jennifer’s show has been put on hold.
With Monday night’s season premiere of Jon & Kate Plus 8 grabbing an audience of 9.8 million viewers — an all-time high for TLC — the basic cable network has decided it can do just fine without a new series from Jen…at least for now.
“It was on life support for awhile, and now we’ve just lost interest,” a TLC spy told TMZ on Wednesday.
