Jennifer Lopez is taking legal action against a website for publishing quotes about her nervous breakdown and her feelings on Scientology.

The singer was being interviewed by Elle Magazine’s Kevin Sessums but requested that the revealing chat not be published.

“There was a time when I was very overworked and I was doing music and movies and so many things,” she says. “I was suffering from a lack of sleep. And I did have a kind of nervous breakdown. I froze up on a set… I was like, I don’t want to move. I don’t want to talk. I don’t want to do anything.”

“At the tenth day after giving birth all that chemical stuff did peak - that hormone thing - and I did cry a lot that day because I was having so much trouble moving,” Jenn told the journalist.

She withdrew the comments because she wasn’t “comfortable with the questioning,” according to her rep.

Nonetheless the entire interview has appeared on website The Daily Beast–which was the subject of a recent cease & desist letter from J. Lo’s legal team

“The story accurately reports what Kevin Sessums learned from Ms. Lopez in his interview,” a spokesperson for the site says. “He owns the story and The Daily Beast was happy to publish it.”
