Jennifer Lopez has nabbed a guest spot on FOX’s award-winning comedy Glee — and it looks like the 40-year-old singer/actress will be trading in her Louboutins for lunch trays and a hairnet.

Series creator Ryan Murphy is eager to have J. Lo portray a lunch lady when she guest stars on the small screen musical hit later this season.

“We are writing a role for Ms. Jennifer Lopez, who we love,” Murphy gushed to Extra just after Sunday’s Golden Globes. “We want her to be a cafeteria lady.”

The show won Best Television Series (Comedy or Musical) at this weekend’s awards show. Glee will return from hiatus with all new episodes in April.
