Don’t mess with J. Lo: Ojani Noa, the Cuban-born chef and aspiring model briefly wed to singer/actress Jennifer Lopez in the late ’90s, claims his life is in danger after a foiled attempt to sell a book and steamy home tapes of the star.

“She’s having him followed. We just ran the license plate of the car . . . and it goes directly back to Jennifer Lopez. Ojani’s scared,” his business manager, Ed Meyer, tells Life & Style’s Nov. 30 issue. Ojani’s lawyer, Frank Sanes Jr., agrees: “We have some concerns right now about the personal safety of Ojani. We believe he’s under surveillance by someone. He’s had death threats.”
