Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Sue The National Enquirer For Six Figures

Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony, are suing the National Enquirer in European courts over the tabloid’s claims they were linked to a drug scandal, their Belfast lawyer said on Monday.
The March, 2007 article in dispute was printed in British and Irish editions of the Enquirer and accused both Lopez and Anthony of being “caught up in a heroin scandal.”

The Enquirer also printed a photo of Anthony standing with photographer Michael Star, who is facing heroin and child pornography charges in the United States.
The couple is seeking “a six-figure settlement” from the Enquirer, based in Boca Raton, Fla., and its parent company, American Media Inc.
