Jennifer Hudson performed our National Anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner,” prior to the start of Super Bowl XLIII between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Sunday.

Football’s biggest night had an especially important meaning for the Academy Award-winning actress, she was making her first major public appearance since the triple homicide of her mother, brother, and 7-year-old nephew last October.

Jennifer received a standing ovation for her rendition. She did a beautiful job.
