Jennifer Hudson Lost the Weight…Now She’s Losing Weight Watchers

Jennifer Hudson dropped 80 lbs…now the Oscar winner’s dropping Weight Watchers.

Hudson announced Friday that she’s severing ties with the weight loss brand after a four year partnership that saw the “DreamGirl” transform her frame with the help of a regular exercise regimen and a Weight Watchers-approved meal plan. Jennifer says she’s stepping away from her role as a Weight Watchers spokeswoman and turning her focus back to her first love: Singing.

“My experience with Weight Watchers has truly been life changing. I am grateful for what I have learned throughout the process and will always take it with me.I have chosen to step away from my role as ambassador and I am excited for the year to come, with many new projects and lots of new music.”

So, we suppose that means Jessica Simpson is now officially the big cheese (we’re using the term “big” loosely here) in the Weight Watchers camp. Jessica has a storied history with her waistline. Who could forget the “Mom Jeans Fiasco” of 2010? And we all remember the 75 pounds she put on as she awaited the arrival of daughter Maxwell in 2012.

Well, after joining forces with the team at WW, Jessica’s down 70 pounds and we’re certain she’s thisclose to squeezing into those denim booty shorts she rocked so well in the Dukes of Hazzard.
