With a devoted fan following worldwide and a big screen adaptation that set a new standard for the “chick flick,” Sex and The City has proven itself as an iconic fixture in popular culture. But the series is no hit with actress Jennifer Aniston.

In her buzzed-about new interview for Vogue Magazine’s December 2008 issue, the star of He’s Just Not That Into You, the New York Times Best-Seller that shot to fame after a plug on a episode of SATC, revealed she’s not a fan of television’s Carrie Bradshaw.

“I don’t know. I don’t . . . like . . . girls . . . whining . . . and complaining . . . about . . . wanting a man!” she stammered.

“I never liked ‘Sex and the City,’ the kind of thing where women only feel empowered once they find the Man,” Jennifer told Vogue. “It is just not up my alley. I don’t believe in it. There is nothing you can control about love.”
