Egads! Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth is penning a memoir. The book, called Deep Thoughts From a Hollywood Blonde, will arrive on booksellers’ shelves (and on your Kindle) April 1, 2014.
For those in-the-know, that’s just two weeks before the release of an already-scheduled memoir from Garth’s former co-star Jason Priestley. The Hollywood Reporter surmises that the timing of Jennie’s book “could be seen as an attempt to piggyback on his publicity or steal his thunder.”
Sounds like a Battle of the 90210 Memoirs is on the horizon.
We can expect Jennie to explore “the highs and lows of her sometimes tumultuous life in Hollywood, both in front of the cameras and behind the closed doors of her personal life.”
“Now I’m on my own with my three kids, and I just crossed that tricky invisible line into my forties. Maybe because of all these things or maybe despite them, I feel like another chapter in my life is just beginning. This book is my story about where I’ve been and where I’m headed — and what I’ve learned along the way.”
From working with celebutots like Tori Spelling, Amanda Bynes and Shannen Doherty to her seemingly painful split with Peter Facinelli, the working mom is sure to have lots of dirt to dish.
We can hardly wait.
