Javier Bardem, the Spanish actor best known for his Academy Award-winning role as cold-blodded hitman Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men, is going to make a special appearance on the FOX musical hit Glee this fall, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Bardem — a devoted Gleek — will play a rock star who becomes friends with Kevin McHale’s character, Artie Abrams.

“We’re going to rock the house,” says Bardem, who brought the idea to the attention of Glee creator Ryan Murphy while the two worked on the upcoming film adaptation of Eat, Pray, Love — which stars Julia Roberts and James Franco. “We’re going to do some heavy metal – Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”
