Jason Schwartzman is a dad!

The actor and wife Brady Cunningham — who he wed in 2009 — welcomed daughter Marlowe Rivers in Los Angeles Dec. 4, PEOPLE said Monday.

The co-star of HBO’s Bored to Death is the son of actress Talia Shire, the nephew of filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, and the cousin of actor Nicolas Cage and director Sofia Coppola.

Last year, Schwartzman joked that he was growing his signature ‘stache to “embarrass my unborn child.”
