A rep for Janet Jackson says the singer has been hospitalized after falling ill shortly before a concert in Montreal this week.

The “Escapade” singer was forced to cancel the stop on her 2008 Rock Witchu Tour after she “got suddenly ill” during sound check late Monday.

Janet is being monitored in a local hospital and hopes to reschedule the show.
