Michael Jackson, yes was a icon, legend, brilliant, a talented singer, the best dancer
of our time. He was more to me. Michael Jackson was like a God, no I didn’t say
he was god, I said he was like one. Why do I say this? I say this because people look up to him no matter what the situation is. If it is: movies, music, dances, love,
fatherhood, people look at him and say’’ Michael Jackson is best at this. He to me is
and always will be the best of him. And you critics who talk badly of him, oh
you better’’ Beat it’’, because I will go all the way to make you realize he was a great
man. Just because he is a great man, you don’t have the right to call him names, to
label him, or to group him in categories. Come on we are not in kindergarten. People
have asked me why do I stand up for Michael Jackson. I reply,’’ because we all
have our own problems, and Michael was accused of things before anyone knew him
or got the correct information. He is human, and can only take so much criticism
before explosion. If everyone is looking at Michael Jackson as a criminal, who will
stand up for him and tell how innocent he is even if proven guilty, or how much they
love him. Listen to all of Michael Jackson’s music, look at all of his photos, listen to the messages he is giving us. I think it is time to follow these messages. Look at
thriller, man in the mirror, black or white, and let’s stop being the Americans we are
and quit criticizing each other, stop the racism, stop the wars. Let us come together as
it was in the olden days, no not the gun fight times, but the time where a person of all
race, all ethnic groups, gay or straight, fat or not can walk past a grocery store and not
be looked at as if you might rob them, but to be invited in just to hang out with each
other. I am tired and upset with all human race, yes Michael may have died of an
overdose, but it is all of the stress, all of the criticism we said about him. Yes, we hurt
him, and we did cause this. Now we can’t look at him dance on the stage with his
gorgeous face of an angel, and watch him enjoy himself pleasing us. It is time for us to
come together and finish Michael’s dream to clean up the world, donate to charities,
not only donate money, but time, love, honesty, trust, and just help others. It is time
to stop thinking me, you but to think of others. I appreciate the hard work and effort
people take out of their time to make the world a better place to live. I believe besides
Martin Luther, Michael Jackson is the reason we are as close as we are today, no
need to stop, let’s keep getting closer to where we are full of love, not hate. Michael Jackson is My brother by God, and I love him.
