Jamie Lynn Spears has not suffered a miscarriage. The sixteen year old star became the subject of miscarriage rumors on Thursday afternoon when several reports surfaced claiming the pregnant actress had been rushed to a Kentwood, Louisiana hospital with severe cramping and bleeding.

“Contrary to rumors, Jamie Lynn Spears has not been rushed to the hospital nor has she suffered a miscarriage,” the Zoey 101 star’s rep tells OK!. “She is healthy and at home with her mother.”

Shame on whoever started this rumor. That’s a really cruel thing to do.
