Jamie Lynn Spears and her infant daughter, Maddie, are abandoning the backwoods of Louisiana for an exciting life in the City of Angels, Star reports.

Jamie Lynn “feels like she needs to be close to her sister right now” and has met with relators at Coldwell Banker who are helping the 17-year-old mom find a Los Angeles mansion in the $4 million price range.

The rumored move has spurned questions about the future of Jamie Lynn’s relationship with her teen fiance, Casey Aldridge.

“She wants a Mediterranean-style house with balconies, a big backyard, and lots of privacy,” says a source.

And don’t expect the Littlest Spears to plop down her hard-earned cash on some dusty 30-year-old dwelling–only recently constructed homes will do.

“She aksed for a new house because she likes new kitchens and bathrooms.”
