After giving birth to daughter Maddie in June, seventeen-year-old new mom Jamie Lynn Spears is devoting herself to helping another high-profile teen tramp weather a media beating.

Pregnant potential Vice Presidential daughter Bristol Palin recently received a baby gift courtesy of Jamie Lynn.

A CelebTV insider says Lynne Spears ordered a few tyke trinkets for Bristol’s baby bun from tot boutique Plain Mary and requested the gift be shipped on Jamie Lynn’s behalf.

“It was ordered by phone, and they asked what could be done for under $100. They spent $60 on pink burpcloths.”

The note attached to the gift read, “Dear Bristol, Hang in there… xoxo, Jamie Lynn.”
