Hopefully her joy to be a mom and her love for her daughter will have greater influence over how Maddie grows up to feel about herself than the voices in the media and society at large that need to harp on the fact that her mother had her when she was 17. Let's get over it. There are more important things for us to concern ourselves with than the fact that Jamie Lynn Spears had a baby while being "only" 17.
