Anne vs. Ellen on Daytime TV? With Men in Trees cancelled and her bank account teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, actress Anne Heche could sure use a new gig. And she may be on the verge of landing one. Anne is in talks with ABC to co-host a daytime talk show with her Men in Trees co-star turned lover James Tupper, a new Star Magazine scoop dishes.

The proposed hour-long gabfest, described by a Star source as “fun, entertaining, and edgy,” would feature James and Anne gushing about love, sex, and relationships.

Anne’s venture into to daytime would her face to face with her Emmy-winning ex, comedienne Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen, who unveiled plans to wed lover Portia de Rossi last week, was publicly dumped by Anne several years ago. The pair dated through much of the late nineties.
