James Brown’s “Widow” and Son Excluded From Will

James “Paid the Cost to Be the Boss,” but he won’t be paying Tomi. The “wife”/companion/baby mama of soul legend James Brown won’t be getting a hill of beans according to the singer’s will.
Hollywood sources just broke that the will was read today in Aiken, South Carolina and both Tomi Rae Hynie and the five year old son that is named after James Brown were excluded from the estate. She has 30-days from the date of death to contest the will, and her lawyer is reporting that they will not take action until they’ve seen the will.
This isn’t the only potential legal trouble for Brown’s estate. Jacque Hollander claims that James Brown raped her two decades ago and has petitioned the U.S Supreme Court to sue the estate for sexual harassment.
This comes just two days after an attorney for James Brown’s family announced that legal issues have the “Superbad” singer chilling (literally) in his living room awaiting burial rather than six feet underground.
