Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon are very close to engagement, a friend of the couple reveals to OK! Magazine. Sources close to the couple are looking for Jake to get down on bended knee and ask for Reese’s hand in marriage any day now.

“This is a very serious relationship…They’ve been talking marriage for a while….They’ll be formally engaged any day now. They want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

“Reese is very conservative and traditional. I’m sure she doesn’t want her kids to see her ‘living in sin.”

A rep for Jake claims there are no immediate plans for a wedding.
