The remaining members of The Jackson 5 hope busting into the fashion industry will be as easy as “ABC.”
On Monday, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Randy, and Marlon Jackson — along with the estate of their late brother Michael — announced plans to launch a fashion line called J5 Collection, going on sale at Urban Outfitters and J5collection.com. later this year.
The brand of T-shirts, featuring iconic images of the boy band throughout their ’60s and ’70s heyday, alongside replicas of the leather jackets Michael wore in the classic videos for his solo ’80s hits “Thriller” and “Beat It.”
Jackie came up with the idea for the line while searching through group memorabilia he had stored in his Las Vegas home.

”I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. I’ve seen other friends be successful with their lines, like Puffy with Sean John,” eldest brother Jackie told Women’s Wear Daily. “I’ve been in this business for a long time and our name is known around the world.”
“The jackets are incredible. They are the real thing” Jackson added. “I didn’t really think of them as tributes to Michael in the beginning, but that’s what they are. They represent everything he stood for and everything he’s done in this industry, 100 percent.”
T-shirts will retail from $32 and the leather jackets will be priced at around $600.
There’s even footwear and eyewear collections in the works.
