Jack Wagner, Heather Locklear Call Off Engagement
In a move ripped straight from the script of a daytime drama, soap opera-stars-turned-lovers Jack Wagner and Heather Locklear are putting the kibosh on their planned wedding.
On Tuesday, a rep for Jack and Heather confirmed that the pair “are no longer engaged.” The sudster alums met when they played Amanda Woodward and Dr. Peter Burns on the primetime soap Melrose Place in the 1990s — but didn’t begin dating until 2007. The couple remained together as Heather battled a DUI arrest and an addiction to painkillers that sent her to rehab in 2009. They announced their engagement in August.
It would have been the third marriage for Locklear, 50, who was previously wed to rockers Richie Sambora and Tommy Lee. Wagner, whose acting credits include General Hospital and The Bold & The Beautiful, was wed to Kristina Wagner until their divorce in 2006.
