J.R. Smith Goofs Off In The Best Videobomb In NBA History [Watch]
The Cleveland Cavaliers have plenty to celebrate as the No.2 seed in the Eastern Conference, and J.R. Smith is having plenty of fun on his new team. He was acting like quite a goof during last night’s post-game interview and never strays away from his silly antics on or off the court.
Smith is not an elite player like Lebron James or Kyrie Irving certainly, but he has always been able to shine when it counts and made some truly exceptional 3 point shots in their win against the Bulls on Sunday.
Last night, J.R. Smith was being really goofy when he videobombed a post-game interview that sideline reporter Allie Clifton was having with Kyrie Irving. Lebron and Kevin Love were present as well, and how they saved themselves from erupting in laughter will forever remain a mystery for fans.
He popped up on either side of the reporter while making a variety of goofy faces, and it even looks like he flicked her ear at the end of the video.
He also set one of the strangest records in NBA history that only a player like J.R. Smith could accomplish on the court recently. On Sunday, he set the record for most 3-point attempts without shooting a 2-pointer.
The style of J.R. Smith might make you question him sometimes when he is able to go an entire game without even attempting a 2-point field goal, since in theory, those types of shots are supposed to be a lot easier to make than a 3 right?
The Cleveland Cavaliers will finish the season in second place and they recently clinched the Central Division. They have a record of 51-27 and have won 21 of their best 26 games, more than any other team since the middle of January.
There is no doubt that acquiring J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, and Timofey Mozgov have helped throughout the regular season. When the playoffs begin, Lebron James and company will look to make a deep run in the playoffs and King James has his sights on his first title as a member of the Cavs.
