In the wake of this week’s rumors claiming that the biological father of Michael Jackson’s two oldest children is actually the King of Pop’s former Beverly Hills dermatologist — and Debbie Rowe’s one-time employer — Dr. Arnold Klein, Entertainment Tonight has recruited a board certified plastic surgeon to do a comparative facial analysis of Prince Michael I, 12, and Paris Jackson, age 11.

Taking into account facial features, coloring, and bone structure, Dr. Brian Glatt is looking for physical similarities between Dr. Klein and the Jackson kids.

“When you examine the pictures of Dr. Klein and try to compare them to Prince and Paris, there really is very little resemblance between the two,” says Dr. Glatt. “It seems to me that he would be very unlikely to be genetically related to them.”

The good doctor adds that the odds aren’t in favor of Jackson being the biological father of Prince or Paris, either, namely because Michael Jackson was African-American, Debbie Rowe (the kids’ biological mom) is White, and neither child looks biracial. “If there’s very little similarity between Dr. Klein and the two eldest children, there’s even less similarity between Michael Jackson and the two eldest children. It would be very unlikely, in my opinion, that he would be genetically related to these kids. Of course, there’s more to being a father than just being genetically related.”

Why does it matter whether or not he was the biological father? People adopt children all the time. DNA doesn’t make someone a Dad. By all accounts, Michael Jackson loved and lived for these children, and they loved him. Can’t we just leave it at that?

Michael Jackson had been dogged by controversy within the African -American community for over 20 years over his alteration of his physical appearance to a progressively lighter skin complexion, combined with repeated facial surgeries to his nose and mouth to make him appear more and more Caucasian.

There are some int he African-American community who have accused Jackson of running away from his black lineage with his body alterations. The fact that Prince Michael and Paris bear virtually no physical features that indicate they are biracial — a genetic impossibility if one parent is black and the other is white — is sure to solidify the belief among some in the African-American community that Jackson was ashamed of his black heritage.

I hate to burst people’s bubble here but they could actually be Michael’s kids. I know someone who is from a different race and his wife soon to be ex have three kdis. The first one looks biracial but the last two are blond hair and blue eyed and looks liek either parent. So, this man who is divorcing his wife had always wodnered about the last two whom he raised and lvoes very much. As painful as it was he needed to know so he had a DNA done. Well, guess what folks? All of them were his kids. So just because they do not look or have dark features or what ever means nothing. I had a brother who had black hair and black eyes and very dark complected. The first comment wasn’t very thoughtful….saying that Micheal was running away from his African heritage by creating “white” children. White folks adopt kids from all over the world and nobody says they are ashamed of their own heritage. This analysis sucks. I have the same skin tone Michael had and my husband is white, our children look white. My daughter tans nicely but my son turns pink. People have asked if they are my children. This man is a plastic surgeon not a geneticist. My kids are proof that it is possible for those kids to be Michael’s.

I grew up not knowing my bio father. I was raised by my dad (stepfather) from age 7. I am 30 now. I have heard horrible things about my bio father, and do not wish to meet him. To a child, the father is not who made love to the mother to create he/she, it is the man who has been there for her for her entire life. My parents divorced 9 years ago. I still call him every two days, and he is my father. Any dad knows there is more to raising a child besides having sex. Those children love him.

Actually, I think that as the children get older their features speak more of being Michaels children. The youngest has alot more features that would say that he is biracial. Also, while way back when, Michael skin was dark, Janet and other siblings, have lite skin tone which would also be in Michaels genetics. Either way though at the end of the day, they knew him as their father, and genes aren’t always what makes a father.

Weather the kid’s are biologically Michaels only he knows, but i do know that not just b/c the children look a certain way can we automatically assume what the parents look like.
