It’s official, Jesus needs to take over the wheel of The Sun newspaper. The latest chuckle-worthy report coming out of London’s most sensational tab has suggested that Michael Jackson’s youngest son may have been fathered by Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin.
Lordy, ten bucks says next week they’ll be claiming that Brooke Shields is Blanket’s biological mother. But let’s humor them for a sec, shall we?
Michael and Macaulay formed a close friendship during the height of Macaulay’s child fame in the 1990s. The actor even testified on MJ’s behalf during his 2005 child molestation trial. Jackson tattles believe seven-year-old Blanket (Prince Michael II) Jackson was carried by a surrogate mother after being conceived by sperm sample donated by Michael’s longtime friend Macaulay, now 29.
“This isn’t just chitter-chatter, even Culkin suspects he’s Blanket’s father,” a spy tells The Sun. “Deep down, I think he always wished [Macaulay] was his son,” says the source. “Creating Blanket was the next best thing.”
Macaulay, who is godfather to Michael’s two older children, has told friends that he won’t comment publicly on the rumors out of loyalty to his late friend.
“So many names have been mentioned as prospective dads, and this is probably the wackiest yet. But Jackson and Culkin were best friends. He was one of the few people Jackson really trusted and Mack never let him down,” the insider adds.
“Really, Jackson idolized him – that’s why he asked Mack to donate sperm.”
