It was bound to happen… the question was inevitable really — which of MTV’s ripped-from-real-life trainwrecks is most entertaining – Jersey Shore or The Hills?

According to self-professed guidette and The Shore’s breakout H.A.M. — Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi — it gets no better than overtanned, self-indulged beach bunnies. “We are better than ‘The Hills.’ It is all real,” the professional cheerleader from Upstate New York snickered to Us Weekly at the Spike TV’s Video Game Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Jersey Shore housemate Jenni “J-WOWW” Farley, agrees, chiming in with: “We are not fake; we don’t try to present ourselves like we are fake. We don’t try to put ourselves in front of the cameras with the hair and the makeup. We tell everyone how we feel. We don’t say anything behind their backs.”

Perhaps someone should tell these girls that those implants and spray-on tans are about as phony as a $3 bill.
