Report: Heidi Klum Joining “America’s Got Talent”
Well, this is random…
Supermodel Heidi Klum is reportedly joining the judging panel of America’s Got Talent as a fourth judge.
The Project Runway host, 39, has reportedly inked a deal with series producers, which will guarantee her a place on the next season of the popular NBC series. According to TMZ.com, Heidi — who has four children with her crooner ex Seal — agreed to appear on the popular series after last minute negotiations. Klum hopped aboard a plane to New Orleans over the weekend, just in time for the first round of auditions, which begin on Monday.
Heidi will join returning judges Howie Mandel and Howard Stern and fellow newcomer Melanie “Mel B” Brown. The former Spice Girl is replacing Sharon Osbourne.
Osbourne quit Talent in August, after NBC dropped her son from a proposed TV show when they learned he was suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS). The matriarch was furious when Jack Osbourne, 26, was axed by email from the upcoming NBC reality show Stars Earn Stripes, allegedly because of his diagnosis with the debilitating disease.
The elder Osbourne decided she no longer wanted anything to do with the network, telling The New York Post:
“I just can’t be fake. It’s discrimination and it was badly handled. It’s time to move on.”
An all season of America’s Got Talent will premiere this summer.
