After earning a whopping $100 million in it’s opening weekend, Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios are forging ahead with plans to release an Iron Man sequel, Iron Man 2, to be released in April 2010.
Kevin Feige, head of production for Marvel Studios, confirmed the Iron 2 news to the Associate Press on Tuesday.
Actor Robert Downey Jr. will repise his role as a billionaire turned superhero in the trilogy’s second installment.

Iron Man was a practically flawless hero flick; its makers drop some pretty obvious sequel hints too… i’m thinking the next one should be equally great
