Iron Man hasn’t even cracked the weekend box office yet and there’s already talk of a sequel! Brad Grey, CEO of Paramount Pictures, reports that if the movie does as well as expected this week, the studio plans to release a follow-up in 2010.

Iron Man stars Robert Downey Jr. as billionaire inventor Tony Stark who uses a high-tech suit of armour to protect the world as the next action hero. Iron Man, co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Terrence Howard, opens May 2nd.
