Whoa, baby! An young mother in Jakarta, Indonesia gave birth to a 19.2 pound bundle of joy this week, setting a record for the country’s biggest baby ever. The child was born the size of a nearly one-year-old toddler and doctors think gestational diabetes is to blame for the still-unnamed, but healthy, baby boy’s record-breaking girth.

“This heavy baby made the surgery really tough, especially the process of taking him out of his mum’s womb,” Dr. Binsar Sitanggang, who delivered the baby, told Agence France-Presse on Thursday. “His legs were so big.”

The biggest baby world record of 23 pounds was set in 1879.
