Illusionist Ed Alonzo Offers Britney Spears “Circus” Tour Spoilers

Illusionist Ed Alonzo, who once appeared as “Max” on TV’s Saved By The Bell, promises that “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” will be an “amazing concert” experience.
Describing the three-ring, circus-inspired set, the tour’s resident magician says: “[It is] exactly what you would see in a big giant Vegas production show.”
“She’s incorporated into major illusions. She’ll do dissection, where she’s sawed in half, and transposition, where she’s in one place and ends up in another place. She’s doing all the classic elements of magic.”
“We’re going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech,” Ed explains. “We’ll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish, an appearance.”
He adds, “There are some complicated things… but because she’s a dancer, it really makes sense to put her in the magic, and it works and she’s really really good at it. Some of it’s pretty scary but she gets right in there with no reservations.”
Britney Spears’ eagerly-awaited Circus Tour kicks off in New Orleans on March 3.
