Hugh Hefner is quite smitten with MTV’s Lauren Conrad. The Playboy founder took the time to introduce himself to The Hills star at the Madden NFL 09 Game Launch Party in Los Angeles on August 8.

“Hef really wanted to say hello because he thinks she’s a beautiful girl,” an insider tells In Touch. “She is exactly the Playboy type-a natural blonde with the all-American look. It was obvious that LC was a little surprised to be cornered by Hugh Hefner!”
