Despite online reports that he might have suffered a heart attack in Toronto late Monday, Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel, 53, has been hospitalized for an irregular heartbeat and is expected to fully recover.

“Howie is in the hospital being monitored for an irregular heartbeat but doctors expect him to be released and back to work tomorrow,” his rep Lewis Kay said in a statement.

“He did not have a heart attack,” the publicist added.

Howie is a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
