40. Robin Wright Penn
Sci-fi/Fantasy Roles: Princess Buttercup, The Princess Bride
Robin Wright probably never imagined the cult-like following that she would receive from her role as Princess Buttercup in The Princess Bride. While portraying the “princess held hostage” waiting for her True Love, Wesley, to arrive, Buttercup provides the romantic storyline to one of the best comedies of all-time. Her fair complexion and blonde-locks provide the fantasy quota for any princess. This fantasy film was just the start of a successful career for Robin Wright Penn.

38. Heather Graham
Sci-Fi/Fantasy Role: Dr. Judy in Lost in Space
This Wisconsin born beauty brought a lot more than her looks to the 2002 film, ‘Lost in Space’. Graham, who is most well known for her roles in ‘Boogie Nights’ and ‘Drugstore Cowboy’, seemed an unlikely pick for Dr. Judy Robinson. But she surprised audiences everywhere with a great performance. She might not always get the chance to play a scientist, but Graham certainly raised the bar playing this smart, sexy doctor.
37. Claire Danes
Sci-Fi/Fantasy Role: Yvaine in Stardust
With roles in films like Romeo and Juliet, Evening and Brokedown Palace, you might not expect this former Yale student to appear on our list. But after her role in one of the most underrated fantasy films of all time, Stardust, Claire was a clear choice. In the film, Claire plays a star who has fallen to earth. While there, she embarks on a adventure with a young man where they encounter lightning pirates, Princes, witches and more in a magical kingdom. Danes also gets an honorable mention as Kate in Terminator 3.

With her Brazilian super model looks and her raw acting talent, actress Camilla Belle is sure to be around for some time in Hollywood. In ‘Push’, Belle plays Kira, who happens to be the key to the survival of gifted citizens around the world!

32. Jennifer Morrison
Sci-fi/Fantasy role: Winona Kirk, Star Trek: The Movie
You may recognize Jennifer Morrison from the FOX hit, House but she launched herself into the fantasy world with her role as Winona Kirk, in the 2009 blockbuster hit, Star Trek: The Movie. Playing the role of James Kirk’s mother(Capt. Kirk) solidified Jennifer into Sci-fi grandeur, I mean if you are the mom of Capt. Kirk, come on! While Jennifer’s role in the film may not have been the flashiest she was still able to show-off her gorgeous smile.
31. Evan Rachel Wood
Sci-fi/Fantasy Role: Sophie-Anne Leclerq, True Blood
While her role on the HBO smash hit, True Blood, may have have been brief, Evan Rachel Wood rocked the socks off viewers in her 2-episode run. Of course, Evan Rachel has tried her hand at other genres including the smash hit ‘Running with Scissors’ and her Broadway role in Spiderman: The Musical.
