A little surprised more California schools didn't make the Top 50, especially San Diego State (whose academic standards are only slightly above ASU's and benefits from the same "beauty effect").

As far as baggin on the academic aspect ASU has one the highest ranked business schools and and an awesome engineering program, both which are very selective. So we are not all as dumb as you think. Besides this is a hotness ranking not an academic one.
