Hillary Clinton Rips Student Reporter For Sexist Question During Tour Of Africa (VIDEO)
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ripped a student reporter for making a “sexist remark” at an open forum with young people in Kinshasa during her tour of Africa on Monday.

Clinton became enraged when a university student took the microphone and asked former President Cliton’s opinion about the involvement of China and the World Bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to AFP.
“What does Mr. Clinton think about it?” the young man asked.
“You want to know what my husband thinks? My husband is not the secretary of state, I am. You ask my opinion, I will tell you my opinion. I’m not going to be channelling my husband,” the Secretary of State — who has made women’s rights a top priority on the Africa trip — snapped.
Reports out of the Congo now suggest the translator who fielded the student’s question to Clinton may have got things mixed up — too bad the mistake wasn’t caught early enough to save this guy’s skin.

The question was “Was Ms Clinton jet lagged or jealous”? Are they crazy!?!
Ms Clinton answered in a manner more gentle and/or genteel than I would have had I been asked my wife’s opinion in that forum.
Ms Clinton is a strong, intelligent and assertive SoS, and she is a fine representative of our President’s international policies. We should show her a great deal more respect than asking her for Bill’s opinion, or asking if she is jealous.
It’s been way too long since we had a SoS who was internationally respected as Ms Clinton. Especially after the laughing stock that was Condi Rice.

LOL! You tell ‘em H.C.! I love the head flip at the end. Although it was obvious to me the interpreter was a bit confused, Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, had no way of knowing this. I bet the next time the a diplomat visits the Congo the interpreters will be more accurate in their translations.
