Hillary Clinton hospitalized for blood clot
Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has been hospitalized following complications from the concussion she suffered.
Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines says her doctors discovered the clot during a follow-up exam Sunday. Reines says Clinton is being treated with anti-coagulants. Hillary was admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital so doctors can monitor the medication over the next 48 hours.
Hillary had been forced to cancel an overseas trip earlier this month after she fainted and hit her head and was diagnosed with a concussion.
Hillary, who had already stated that she would not return to her post as Secretary of State, was also not present last week when President Obama announced that Senator John Kerry would take of Hillary’s role.
Get well, Hillary!
