Hilary Duff won over the cast and crew of The CW’s Gossip Girl by presenting her new co-workers with cupcakes as she filmed her cameo appearance on the hit show.

The 21 year-old former Disney star will make a series of guest appearances as pop star turned college student Olivia Burke during the upcoming third season of the teen drama, premiering in September.

Duff wanted to ensure that she got along well with her colleagues – so she showed up to the New York City shoot armed with plenty of baked goods.

A source tells OK!: “She was coming into a tight-knit group; she wanted to get off on the right foot.”
