Hilary Duff won’t be enjoying burgers and fries at the Peach Pit, after all. The former Lizzie McGuire has reported turned down an offer to appear on a spinoff based on the 90s young adult soap opera, Beverly Hills, 90210. Hilary was up for the role of “Annie Mills,” the teen daughter, or “Brenda Walsh” of sorts, of the show’s central family. The new series will debut on The CW Network this Fall.
Duff turned down the 90210 offer because she is looking for projects that are outside of the teen genre in order to expand her image, E! News sources said on Monday.
