Ever wonder how Heidi Montag made the transformation from fresh-faced blonde from Colorado Horse Country to one of the most-hated women ever to grace the small screen?
Yeah — neither have we.
Montag is writing an autobiography. The surgically-altered star and her husband, Spencer Pratt, lost their millions when MTV pulled the plug on their once popular docu-soap The Hills and hopes to reclaim the spotlight by penning her memoirs, spywitnesses tell The National Enquirer. On the pages of the tome, Heidi will reportedly reveal shocking details about her marriage to Spencer, their sex tape hoax, and the dish on why her friendship with Lauren Conrad fell to pieces.
A spy squeals:
“She’ll talk about the control that Spencer exerted over her, which forced her to make bad decisions that ultimately got her kicked off The Hills. A big chunk of the book will be about how Heidi befriended Lauren and how devastated she was when she ended up dumping her as her BFF. Maybe something positive will come out of it. She’s happy to have people read the full story and make up their own minds.”
Heidi is also set to spill the beans on her 2009 marathon plastic surgery, which saw the 24-year-old transform her looks with 10 operations in one day. Montag has expressed regret over her surgical makeover in the years since she went under the knife.
“She blames a lot of it on the pressure of being in the public spotlight. She wanted to make herself look like a Barbie doll.”
