Heidi Montag on Lauren Conrad “The Hills” Departure: “We Don’t Need Her!”
The upcoming fifth season of The Hills will be the last for series star Lauren Conrad, but as far as on-screen frenemy Heidi Montag is concerned, the show will go on just fine once LC hits the bricks.
“We don’t need her,” Heidi told MTV News on Friday. “We’ll miss her. I just don’t know if we need her.”
“‘The Hills’ hasn’t even really begun yet. I think this is just the beginning,” Heidi continued.
Yet, Heidi wasn’t surprised her former bestie is ready to walk away from life as a reality TV personality.
“I know she hasn’t been wanting to be do this for a while, and [the life she really leads] is not on camera. So I think it’s a closing chapter for her. I’m sure she’ll have fun and success,” Heidi continued. “She’s gotta leave the dramas to the pros!”
The new season of The Hills premieres Monday at 10 p.m. on MTV.
