Heidi Montag has accused her estranged husband — fellow reality star Spencer Pratt — of “using her name” to market a 2009 book the couple co-authored on feigning your way to fame.
The book, How to be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture, was released in November and has a two out of five star rating on Amazon.com. The effort names Montag and Pratt as authors, however, now that the bitter exes are angry rivals, Heidi claims she had “nothing to do with it.”
“Let me be clear OMG! Spencer used my name to get a check on his book “how to be famous” I had nothing to do with it! He is the fame whore!” she fumed in a Tweet on Monday.
Montag has hired a divorce lawyer Jodeane Farrell in the hope of ending her 19-month marriage to her The Hills co-star Spencer Pratt as quickly as possible. The blonde filed for separation on June 8, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She’s also hired a private investigator in the hope of finding out whether Spencer has been romancing other women during the union
