The WGA strike keeps the future of the 2008 Academy Awards, scheduled for February 24th, up in the air, but Heidi Klum is proceeding with plans to purchase custom-made couture red gown by John Galliano for the ceremony before donating the dress to charity.

Heidi’s Oscar dress is being offered up for grabs as part of the Red Dress Program, an initiative between Diet Coke and the National Institutes of Health’s The Heart Truth, to raise awareness of heart disease in women.
