
When New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2008-09 starts strutting down the catwalk on Friday, Heatherette, a fave fashion house among celebs, will not be a part of the lineup. The glitzy club wear designer has canned it’s trademark New York Fashion Week showing citing financial restraints, the New York Daily News reports.
“Three years ago, we signed a deal with backers who became our partners,” designer Traver Rains tells the pub.
“Now those three years are up and we are figuring out what we want to do. Do we re-sign or not? All this was just bad timing for Fashion Week this year.”
