Heather Locklear Turns Down Role On New “Melrose Place”

Heather Locklear says thanks but no thanks to the prospect of returning to Melrose Place.
Well can you blame her?
The actress, who played Amanda Woodward on the FOX primetime soap between 1992-2000, has reportedly turned down an offer to reprise her role on a forthcoming revival of the series, which is set to premiere on The CW Network in the fall.
“There wasn’t a way to bring her back that made sense,” a CW source tells Entertainment Weekly.
Rep do confirm that Locklear has passed, the trade paper writes.
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Jessica Lucas, Michael Rady, and Katie Cassidy have all signed on for starring roles on the new Melrose.
