The formation of the Heath Ledger Scholarship Fund was announced at the 2008 Australians in Film Breakthrough Awards in Beverly Hills Thursday night. The fund has been set up in memory of Academy Award-nominated star Heath Ledger, who died in January at the age of twenty-eight. The Heath Ledger Scholarship is designed to “help struggling Aussie actors” succeed in the film industry.
