Academy Award-nominated actor Heath Ledger was found dead in his New York City apartment on Tuesday, and local spies say that the twenty-eight year old star died of a likely drug overdose. His apartment was strewn with pills, the New York Post reports. It was unclear if it was an intentional or accidental death.

A spokesperson for the NYPD said: “Pills were found in the vicinity of the bed. This is being looked at as a possible overdose, but that is not confirmed yet.”

Very sad….R.I.P Heath.

Did Heath Ledger overdose though? I read from this website that he checked into an Australian rehabilitation facility last year to learn injection of heroin for the movie Candy.

Shut up beth, hes legacy wil be for hes acting..
I love hes work, and feel sorry for hes friends and family. Maybe u should try overdosing!. Rest in peace heath, love u always.

Beth is right on the money. But yes, let’s not forget his legacy of his acting in the portrayal of a selfish bastard who cheats on his wife with another man. Can’t get any more depraved and selfish than that. I guess life imitates art though, right? Hennoe wouldn’t know a decent human being from a sack of potatoes.
