Heath Ledger died of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine, according to the New York City Medical Examiner.

“Accidental abuse of prescription medications” is being given as the official reason Heath Ledger passed away two weeks ago,” the official toxicology report reveals.

New York’s Chief Medical Examiner says: “Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine. We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications.”
